Built by clinicians who prescribe

PrescriberPath is led by a consultant interventional cardiologist with nearly 30 years in the NHS, working with practising pharmacists and GPs. Every module is written from current guidance and reviewed by a clinician in that field.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who is PrescriberPath for?

Foundation trainee pharmacists preparing for the registration assessment and their prescribing sign-off, and qualified prescribers (pharmacists, nurses, paramedics and others) who want to prescribe confidently in a new clinical area.

Does it cover the registration assessment?

Yes. The Foundation track includes Part 1 calculations practice and Part 2 single-best-answer questions across therapeutics, law and governance, and pharmacy practice, with timed mock exams and worked explanations.

Who writes the content?

Courses are written from current NICE guidance and the BNF and reviewed by practising clinicians: a consultant cardiologist for cardiology, and experienced pharmacists and GPs for other areas.

Will a course let me prescribe in a new area?

No course confers prescribing rights. Our certificates and assessed case reviews give you evidence of learning for your CPD record and your scope-of-practice discussions with your employer.

Can my organisation buy places?

Yes. Training sites, pharmacy groups, primary care networks and ICBs can buy discounted licences and track progress across their learners.

When does it open?
